With a determination to pursue a career in global health, Dr. Mohanty completed the Global Health Fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Through this fellowship, he developed relationships with the Botswana Harvard Partnership and Scottish Livingstone Hospital in Molepolole, Botswana. 

Working towards better health, the doctor is board certified in internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). The ABIM is a physician-led, non-profit, independent evaluation organization driven by doctors who want to achieve higher standards for better care in a rapidly changing world.

Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Massachusetts, Dr. Mohanty is affiliated with Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital - Milton, Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital - Needham, and Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital - Plymouth.

Since 2019, he has been serving as an Instructor in Medicine at Harvard Medical School.
