These terms apply when you use theworldinsiders.com and its section sites, entertainment, lifestyle, money, sports and tech (together, "The World Insiders", "we", "us"). The World Insiders is published by Vertical News Network (verticalnewsnetwork.com). By using the sites you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the sites.
Reading and using the sites
The sites are free to read. You may link to any page. Please do not interfere with the sites or with other readers' use of them, try to reach parts of the sites that are not public, or collect our stories in bulk without our permission.
Our stories
Our stories are written in our own words from reports, announcements and press releases that others have already published. The text of our stories, the design of the sites and our logo belong to Vertical News Network or to those who license them to us. You may quote a short passage if you credit The World Insiders and link to the story. To copy a whole story or use our text in another product, ask us first at [email protected].
How stories are made: AI-assisted rewriting
We use artificial intelligence (AI) tools to help write our stories. An AI system drafts a short account of the facts of a published report in new words. The draft is then checked against that report for names, numbers, dates, quotes and claims, and a named member of the editorial team answers for every story. AI can make mistakes; a check reduces them but cannot remove them. Our editorial policy describes the checks. If you find a mistake, tell us on the corrections page.
Other people's material
Names, trademarks and pictures that belong to other organisations stay theirs. A picture taken from elsewhere carries a credit. If you published material we used and want it removed, write to [email protected] and name the story. We withdraw it.
No advice
Our stories report what was published. They are not investment, financial, legal, tax or medical advice, and they do not tell you what to buy, sell or do. Check important facts with a professional before you act on them.
Mistakes, corrections and removals
We check our stories, but a story can still contain a mistake. Report it on the corrections page.
Links to other sites
Our pages can link to other sites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for what they publish or how they handle your information.
Availability and our responsibility
We provide the sites as they are, without a promise that they will always be available or free of errors. We may change or stop any part of the sites. To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss that comes from using the sites or relying on a story. Nothing in these terms limits a responsibility that the law does not allow us to limit.
Disclosure required by law
We may disclose information about the use of the sites when the law requires it, for example in response to a court order. Our privacy policy explains how we handle information about readers.
Security
No security system is impenetrable. We cannot guarantee the security of the sites or that information sent to us will not be intercepted.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the sites after a change, you accept the new terms.
