Music Industry Business Directory, Networking App For New Rock, Pop Bands Launch

Dayton,United States - September 6, 2022 /PressCable/ —

MIDI Innovation, a subsidiary of J~Will Productions, has launched its eponymous app that combines the features of a MIDI file editor and a business directory. The app is ideal for bands and individual artists who want a convenient way to create as well as promote music.

J~Will Productions describes MIDI Innovation as a “Rolodex” of industry contacts, as it allows users to access the contact information of fellow artists, producers, and record labels. In addition, the directory also contains the contact details of professionals in the wider entertainment industry, enabling users to connect and collaborate with filmmakers, performing artists, and more.

In addition to an exhaustive business directory, the MIDI Innovation app also grants access to live and streaming music events, monthly interviews, and community discussions. These offerings are available to all users at no cost. Users can also opt for premium plans that have a special offer portal and other advanced options.

Further, all users are given access to a drag-and-drop MIDI editor that features thousands of royalty-free MIDI and audio files. “You can use the MIDI files in your music however you want and all the money you earn from your music is yours,” MIDI Innovation stated on its Facebook page, adding that its files are compatible with any digital audio workstation software.

Music Business Worldwide reported earlier this year that the US music industry made $14.99 billion in 2021—the highest revenue recorded in history. MIDI Innovation, however, lamented the difficulty of connecting with industry decision makers, which makes establishing oneself a difficult task. This sentiment was echoed by the respondents of a survey done by The Creative Independent, which found that the industry is less accessible to those “without financial privilege”.

“Many are just overloaded with useless information that they are not able to sift through to reach the end goal,” the company stated on its website. “This is why joining the world’s first database catalog for the entertainment industry is so important.”
