Useful Innovation is once again releasing the double heart shaped natural Himalayan salt lamp.

Charlotte, United States - February 18, 2017 /PressCable/ —

Useful Innovation is once again launching the double heart shaped Himalayan salt lamp. Carved from Himalayan rock salt mined in the Himalayan mountains of northern Pakistan. Each piece is hand crafted and refined until it becomes a well-crafted piece of art. The Himalayan rock salt used is over 65 million years old and contains the salts and other minerals crystalized during an era of environmental purity. The sea which created the salt was isolated and dried up over sixty-five million years ago. Because the ocean existed in a mineral rich area, many types of trace minerals were left deposited in the salt and gives each individual lamp a unique set of patterns and colors when illuminated. The salt of which the lamps are formed have a pleasing calming appearance and put out a calming amber light when illuminated. Due to the hygroscopic nature of Himalayan salt (draws water from the air), the salt lamps release negative ions into the household environment when water molecules are attracted to the salt and then released back into the air by evaporation from the warm salt. This works only while the salt is warmed by the internal light bulb.

A preponderance of negative ions in the air has been shown to have numerous positive environmental effects. One effect comes from negative ions causing dust, dander, pollen, smoke, and various other types of pollutants to clump together, causing them to stick to solid objects, or just fall out of the air. Either way, it improves the quality of the air. Another effect comes from the fact that people have been shown to feel better and breath better in negative ion rich environments. That is why people usually feel better and more energetic near large bodies of water such as the ocean where the air is highly charged with negative ions. The form and quality of the Himalayan salt lamps make them an imaginative and appropriate gift. Available on Amazon http://www.usefulinnovation.com/natural-himalayan-salt-lamp-amazon-14off/
