A Gentleman's Tale introduces their Tailoring Mobile Showroom. Mobile tailors making house calls is not a new concept. A Gentleman’s Tale takes this concept a step further, by bringing not only the tailor to Singaporeans, but the store as well.

Singapore, Singapore - January 18, 2017 /MarketersMedia/ —
Staying true to what they believe in; quality and supporting local talent; the tailored products from A Gentleman’s Tale are hand-made locally by over 70 master tailors, master cutters, quality control supervisors and seamstresses in the company’s tailoring facility in Singapore.
“We explored the idea of a brick and mortar shop, but limitations such as high rental rates would mean that we won’t be able to stay competitive while offering the quality we aim to offer our customers. A Gentleman’s Tale mobile tailoring showroom will not only help us stay competitive while maintaining the quality; we can also offer convenience and efficiency to our customers,” said Chia Kenneth, co founder, A Gentleman’s Tale.
The suits from A Gentleman’s Tale are hand-made locally by over 70 master tailors, master cutters, quality control supervisors and seamstresses in the company’s tailoring facility in Singapore. The team at A Gentleman’s Tale works in shifts to create high quality, customized suits, and most importantly in a timely fashion.
“The concept of A Gentleman’s Tale is to accompany men through milestones in their lives, every outfit tells the story of their lives at different stages and occasions. We believe that everything good starts from feeling good about oneself – looking good with a well-tailored suit is a great start. A Gentleman’s Tale also caters to women who seek out a well-made outfit. Our gentlemen tailors will respect and listen to you like how a gentleman should,” explained Lyn Chan, co founder, A Gentleman’s Tale.
The mobile tailors at A Gentleman’s Tale use a minimum of 18-points measurement system to ensure no small nuances are missed. They are also trained to notice the individual characteristics of each body, such as the slope of the shoulders, the arch of the back, and the body frame. With these measurements and notes, a pattern is created from scratch such that even the smallest distinctions in each client’s body are picked up.
A custom-made shirt and suit from A Gentleman’s Tale starts from S$86 and from S$599, respectively. Turnaround time is approximately seven days for a shirt, including one fitting, and 21 days for a suit including two to three fittings.
Apart from professional business wear, A Gentleman’s Tale also fabricates customized polo t-shirts and t-shirts for individuals, as well as for corporations looking to create an identity through what the team wears.
