Charlotte Adigéry and Bolis Pupul announce second album Mainland Madinina
The Belgian duo have shared “From Healer To Dealer” ahead of the album’s February 5 release on DeeWee/Because Music.

Charlotte Adigéry and Bolis Pupul will return with Mainland Madinina, their second album together, on February 5 through DeeWee/Because Music. The Belgian art-pop musicians have also released a new single, “From Healer To Dealer.”
The pair wrote the album in Ghent and Martinique, where Adigéry’s mother was from. Its title draws on Madinina, the indigenous name for Martinique. The recording is their first since both became parents and Adigéry’s mother died.
Soulwax returned as co-producers and mentors, roles they also held on the duo’s 2022 album Topical Dancer. Adigéry and Pupul began collaborating on her self-titled debut EP in 2017.
Running eight and a half minutes, “From Healer To Dealer” centers on two characters whose exchanges consist entirely of buzzwords. Lennert Madou directed its video, featuring dancers Emmanuelle Mfulu and Mathias Goethals. The 12-track album also includes the previously released single “Googoo Gaga.”
Their announced tour includes European dates followed by shows in the United States and Canada, with stops including London, Los Angeles, Vancouver and Brooklyn.
