Chappell Roan welcomed surprise guest Christina Aguilera during her headlining performance at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, where the pair sang at the opening show of the two-night Super Graphic Spectacular Block Party.

Aguilera performed her 2002 song “Beautiful” before joining Roan on “Coffee,” a ballad from Roan’s own catalog. Roan introduced Aguilera during her set at the benefit event.

Both concerts benefit Roan’s Midwest Princess Project, which supports trans and LGBTQ+ children in the Midwest. The first night also featured Tinashe, Lola Young, Amanda LePore, Blaine Petrovia and Kyra Jeté.

Roan is scheduled to headline the second show as well, with Caroline Polachek, MUNA, Alisa Mae, Fantasia Royale Gaga and Sweaty Eddie on the bill. Her other recent musical appearances included Olivia Rodrigo’s “Expectations” remix and a performance of “Boom Clap” alongside Charli XCX at Charli’s Los Angeles concert.
