Ice Age franchise takes five spots in Netflix’s U.S. top 10
The films registered 42.8 million global views during October 5–11 after joining Netflix through a Disney licensing agreement.

Netflix’s U.S. movie rankings for October 5–11 included every film in the five-movie Ice Age franchise, according to the streaming service’s official charts. The titles joined its catalog on October 4 through a licensing deal with Disney.
Leading the series was the 2002 original, which ranked No. 4. Ice Age: Collision Course (2016) took No. 5, followed by Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs (2009) at No. 8. Ice Age: The Meltdown (2006) placed No. 9, and Ice Age: Continental Drift (2012) was No. 10.
On Netflix’s worldwide English-language movie chart, the franchise held five spots among the first nine. Its combined global view count reached 42.8 million for the period, including 11.2 million for Ice Age, 9.3 million for Collision Course and 8 million for Dawn of the Dinosaurs.
The daily U.S. rankings on October 19 listed Ice Age at No. 8 and Collision Course at No. 9.
Variety reported that the worldwide deal gives the movies a three-month promotional window on Netflix. Their departure date has not been specified, and they are also streaming on Disney+.
The arrangement precedes the planned February 5, 2027, theatrical release of Ice Age: Boiling Point. Its returning voice cast includes Ray Romano, John Leguizamo, Denis Leary, Queen Latifah and Simon Pegg.
