Glee revival approved for Disney+ and Hulu
20th Television will produce the revival, while casting details have not been announced.

Disney+ and Hulu have approved a revival of Glee, with 20th Television set to produce. The approval follows Ryan Murphy's disclosure that he had completed a script with Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan.
Murphy told Entertainment Tonight that the three had written the new project together, having also written the original show's first two seasons. He said he had spoken with around 10 original cast members, who had questions about the idea and were enthusiastic.
No casting information has been disclosed, according to Variety. Murphy's account of those conversations did not identify which performers he had contacted or confirm anyone's participation in the revival.
Glee originally ran on Fox from 2009 to 2015. Its cast included Lea Michele, Matthew Morrison, Jane Lynch, Dianna Agron, Chris Colfer, Darren Criss and Amber Riley, among others. The late Naya Rivera and Cory Monteith also starred in the original series.
