Guns N' Roses brought “Mama Kin” back into their live repertoire on Nov. 1, opening a six-song performance at the Hollywood Bowl for the second Aerosmith & Friends show. The band had not performed the Aerosmith song since 2012.

For Axl Rose, Slash and Duff McKagan, it was their first performance of the track together since June 6, 1992. Guns N' Roses regularly covered it during the band's early years.

The set also introduced three Aerosmith songs the band had never performed before: “S.O.S. (Too Bad),” “Rats in the Cellar” and “Sick as a Dog.” Teddy 'Zig Zag' Andreadis joined on harmonica for “Rats in the Cellar.” He had previously appeared with the band during its early-'90s Use Your Illusion touring, particularly for “Bad Obsession.”

Two Guns N' Roses songs, “Sweet Child O' Mine” and “Nightrain,” closed the set. The band had also supported Aerosmith on Oct. 29, when its five-song appearance combined three first-time Aerosmith covers with two of its own tracks.
