Country singer Megan Moroney has released “Say When,” a song written for the third season of Netflix’s Nobody Wants This. The track appears on the newly available soundtrack, alongside music from artists including Miley Cyrus and J Balvin.

Moroney said in a statement that seeing the scene prompted her to choose Jessie Jo Dillon and Luke Laird as writing partners. Laird also produced the recording. She said the project offered a chance to write about fictional circumstances instead of drawing on her own experiences.

An accompanying press statement describes the guitar-driven song as exploring a friendship that could develop into romance. It is among several previously unreleased tracks included on the soundtrack.

Other contributors include Stella Lefty, Bailey Zimmerman, Cameron Whitcomb, Maisie Peters, Ravyn Lenae and Jessie Murph. The soundtrack is available through Apple Music, Spotify and other digital retailers. The series’ third season is also streaming on Netflix.
