Netflix documentary to feature Jon, Collin and Hannah Gosselin
The film will explore the family’s reality TV years and their aftermath. Participation by Kate Gosselin and the other six children remains unconfirmed.

Netflix said on October 21 that a documentary about the Gosselin family is in production, with Jon Gosselin and his children Collin and Hannah confirmed as interview participants. The film will examine their experiences with reality television and their lives afterward.
The streaming service says the project will explore differing accounts from family members about growing up in public. No other interviewees have been announced, leaving the involvement of Kate Gosselin and the remaining six children uncertain. The film’s title and premiere date have not been disclosed.
The family became known through the TLC series Jon & Kate Plus 8, which chronicled Jon and Kate raising twins and sextuplets. Following the couple’s 2009 divorce, the program continued under the name Kate Plus 8.
The documentary announcement follows the October 13 publication of Collin’s memoir, In the Shadow of Eight: Surviving the Reality of My Childhood. In it, he made allegations concerning his upbringing and his mother’s treatment of him.
Kate has rejected those allegations and defended her parenting decisions, including placing Collin in a behavioral health facility. Jon has supported his son’s memoir and criticized Kate’s response. Netflix has not said whether the film will address the book’s allegations or how much attention it will give the family’s recent disputes.
