Netflix releases trailer for The Hunting Wives season 2
Brittany Snow and Malin Akerman return as Sophie and Margo, while John Stamos and Angel Reese are among the additions to the cast.

Netflix has unveiled a trailer for the second season of The Hunting Wives, showing a romantic relationship between Sophie, played by Brittany Snow, and Margo, played by Malin Akerman. The footage includes scenes of the characters sharing a bed and a bath.
The season opens in Maple Brook with the pair estranged. Secrets from their past and the arrival of new adversaries draw them together again. Cast additions include John Stamos, Angel Reese, Dale Dickey and Kim Matula, alongside Cam Gigandet and Alex FitzAlan. Chrissy Metz and Katie Lowes will not return.
The series initially received approval in late 2023 as a Starz project, with Lionsgate Television producing. Filming took place in 2024, but the show remained unreleased before Lionsgate and Starz separated in May 2025.
After the split, Lionsgate took the series back from Starz to find another outlet that could support multiple seasons. Netflix subsequently acquired rights covering every future season, and a third season has already received approval.
