Creator Erin Foster has expressed interest in continuing Netflix’s romantic comedy Nobody Wants This, though a fourth season remained unconfirmed as of October 24. The series, starring Kristen Bell and Adam Brody, released its third season’s 10 episodes on October 22.

Speaking to Parade, Foster said marriage later in life could offer further material, while emphasizing that she did not want the show to outlast viewers’ interest. She separately told Decider that the team was prepared to return if Netflix commissioned another season, but was awaiting the audience’s response.

The third season concludes with a surprise wedding on a beach for Joanne, played by Bell, and Noah, played by Brody. Foster told Parade that the writers aim to make each season’s conclusion work whether the series continues or ends.

Among the possibilities for another season, Foster told Decider she would be interested in bringing Morgan’s previously mentioned ex-husband onscreen. Morgan is played by Justine Lupe. No fourth-season production timetable or release date has been announced.
