Or Best Offer have released “Fast Strong Horse” as the first single from their upcoming album, It Will Appear, due January 15, 2027. The New York duo, comprising Grace Schmidhauser and Brian Culligan, have also joined Good English Records.

The single takes its name from the closing lines of Near To The Wild Heart, Clarice Lispector’s debut novel. Ella Sinskey directed the accompanying music video.

Schmidhauser described the track as an attempt to recover a sense of agency and dignity during a difficult period, drawing on associations with dreams, reading and geographic transience.

The album contains nine tracks. “Fast Strong Horse” sits fifth, following “Dam,” “Sent,” “Prey” and “Ruins.” The remaining songs are “Providence,” “Feet Out,” “Good News” and “Hear It.”
