The fourth season of HBO’s The Gilded Age is expected to proceed without recurring cast members Patrick Page and Sullivan Jones, according to Deadline. The drama is set to return on November 1, 2026, with eight episodes.

Page’s character, Richard Clay, works as George Russell’s secretary, while Jones portrays T. Thomas Fortune, publisher of the New York Globe. Neither actor is expected to return in a recurring capacity, although guest appearances are still possible.

Both performers joined during season 1. They moved into regular cast roles for season 2 before shifting back to recurring appearances in season 3.

Richard’s third-season storyline saw George fire him over a failed major deal. He subsequently joined forces with a rival for revenge and became a suspect in George’s shooting. Fortune was romantically interested in Peggy Scott despite being married, and had a fistfight with Dr. William Kirkland, Peggy’s future husband.
