Queens Of The Stone Age share “Run Away From The Mob”
Dave Grohl plays drums on the closing song from Perfecth, which is due 10/30 through Matador.
Queens Of The Stone Age have released another song from their upcoming album Perfecth. Titled “Run Away From The Mob,” it features drums by Dave Grohl and occupies the album’s final slot.
The song dates to the session for the band’s 2013 album ...Like Clockwork. Its arrival follows the earlier single “Where The Goth Girls At?” Matador will release Perfecth on 10/30.
Josh Homme described the song as a final letter offering a father’s instructions to his oldest son if events have gone wrong. He said the ending conveys the father’s support for his son.
