Coachella’s organizers have yet to announce the festival’s 2027 lineup, but TMZ reports that headlining offers were rejected by Rage Against The Machine and BTS. The outlet also reported that Dua Lipa, SZA and Tame Impala were nearing confirmation for the top slots.

The festival is scheduled for Apr. 9-11 and Apr. 16-18. HITS Daily Double had previously cited sources identifying Dua Lipa and Tame Impala as likely headliners, while SZA had also been reported as a possible choice.

Rage Against The Machine headlined in 1999 and 2007. The band was scheduled to return in 2020, but that edition was canceled because of COVID. Its last live performances came during its 2022 reunion tour. BTS have not previously performed at Coachella.

Among the reported prospective headliners, Tame Impala have made four Coachella appearances, with a headline performance in 2019. SZA has appeared twice, while Dua Lipa has never been booked on the festival’s bill.
