Justin Sargent has joined Skid Row as its new frontman, with the band announcing 2027 tour dates and releasing its first recording with him. The New Jersey native was chosen following an open audition and months of rehearsals and time together.

The new lineup's debut recording is a cover of “Won't Get Fooled Again” by The Who. It is scheduled to reach streaming platforms on Oct. 30. Co-founder Rachel Bolan said Sargent immediately felt like part of the group, while Dave “Snake” Sabo praised his voice and attitude.

The announced itinerary begins March 5 at The Show at Agua Caliente in Rancho Mirage, Calif., and runs through Sept. 25 at French Lick Resort in French Lick, Ind. It includes Welcome to Rockville in Daytona Beach, Fla., Sonic Temple in Columbus, Ohio, and a May 29 appearance in Niagara Falls, Ontario. Ticketing details have not yet been determined.

Sargent succeeds Erik Gronwall, who left in 2024 after two years with Skid Row. Halestorm's Lzzy Hale temporarily handled vocals for several shows that year. Sargent said he had sung the band's songs for years but had not imagined joining.
