South Park episode includes GTA 6 footage supplied by Rockstar
Jason and Lucia appear on a crowded Vice City beach in “Guinea Pig on a Stick,” which credits Rockstar Games for the gameplay footage.
South Park has incorporated footage from the upcoming GTA 6 into its episode “Guinea Pig on a Stick.” The sequence follows Jason and Lucia onto a busy beach in Vice City, and the closing credits acknowledge Rockstar Games as the footage supplier.
During the scene, a narrator discusses beachgoers bagging waste from their dogs. Jason then throws dog excrement at a man and repeats the attack despite the man's angry response. The beach crowd includes characters with differing body shapes, some of whom respond with dialogue to Jason's actions.
Rockstar has also used YouTube videos and a Netflix Extended Look to present GTA 6 gameplay. The South Park sequence places footage of the game within a sitcom that has repeatedly made it part of its jokes.
In “South American Biker Gangs,” characters expect the game's release to improve the country. Other episodes have included worries about losing saved progress during a power outage and an election-related scene featuring an advertisement for the title.
