Sydney Sweeney and Kirsten Dunst film Housemaid sequel in New Jersey
Dunst is a new cast member in The Housemaid’s Secret, with Michele Morrone and director Paul Feig expected to return.
Sydney Sweeney and Kirsten Dunst were seen shooting The Housemaid’s Secret in Jersey City, New Jersey, on October 26. The actors appeared to be working on a car scene and laughed together during a break in filming.
Sweeney was back on a New Jersey set on October 27, wearing a floral dress as she walked down outdoor stairs. Halloween decorations were visible behind her, although it was unclear whether they were part of the movie’s setting.
The movie follows the 2025 thriller The Housemaid, with both adaptations drawing from Freida McFadden’s book trilogy. Dunst joins a cast that includes Brittany Snow and Paul Anthony Kelly. Michele Morrone is expected to reprise his role, while Paul Feig is expected to direct again.
Liongate’s synopsis follows Millie into a housekeeping job where she is barred from seeing her employer. Her discovery of what is concealed behind a locked door threatens to expose secrets darker than her own.
