Taylor Swift inducted into Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame
Brad Paisley introduced Swift at the gala, where she recalled a tour-bus prank involving thousands of live crickets.

Taylor Swift was honored with induction into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame on October 26 at Nashville’s Music City Center. The 36-year-old singer attended the organization’s 56th gala, marking her second hall of fame induction this year.
Brad Paisley delivered her introduction, while Lainey Wilson performed Swift’s “Love Story.” Swift used her acceptance speech to revisit a prank she said Paisley had played on her, filling her tour bus with thousands of live crickets.
Swift said the insects disrupted her sleep for months and joked that she had considered getting a pet lizard to deal with them. She also joked that Paisley’s introduction had put them back on good terms. The incident reportedly happened while she was opening for his Bonfires & Amplifiers Tour.
Swift thanked Wilson for performing. Other inductees included Shawn Camp, Bruce Channel, Lyle Lovett and Lee Thomas Miller, as well as the late J.I. Allison of Buddy Holly and the Crickets.
