Tinx will take over hosting duties for The Circle’s eighth season, which arrives November 17 on Hulu and Disney+. She announced her role and the premiere date during an appearance on Hulu’s Get Real podcast.

The series is moving to Hulu after Netflix declined to renew it. Michelle Buteau, who hosted its seven seasons on Netflix, will not return. The change of streaming home had previously been announced over the summer.

Tinx, whose real name is Christina Najjar, said contestants live in a house without meeting one another. They can compete using their own identities or pretend to be someone else, with popularity determining their standing.

Hulu’s description of the revamped format says celebrities will compete alongside everyday players. It describes the production as a social experiment filmed in real time, with viewers able to follow twists and player ratings as they unfold. Audience voting will also help shape the competition.
