Wendy Eisenberg and more eaze announce Whait’s debut album
Night School will release “sympathy at home” on 2/12. The duo has shared the lead single, “Falling Down.”

Whait, the duo comprising Wendy Eisenberg and Mari Rubio, who records as more eaze, has announced its first full-length album, “sympathy at home.” Due on 2/12 through Night School, the record is being introduced with the single “Falling Down.”
Much of the recording took place between tours in the musicians’ New York studios. The pair formed Whait in 2024 and first released “calm down” as part of the benefit compilation Just Cause Vol. 1, which raised funds for the Palestine Children’s Relief Fund.
Their collaborations also extend to their individual recordings. Rubio contributed to Eisenberg’s self-titled album, while Eisenberg played on more eaze’s “sentence structure in the country.” Eisenberg is also a member of Editrix and the Bill Orcutt Guitar Quartet.
Whait is also scheduled to support Animal Collective at the band’s “Feels” show at Knockdown Center in New York. Other tracks on the debut include “Human music,” “Darmstadt winner” and “Cache issue.”
