Lily-Rose Depp pictured on Los Angeles set of ‘Playmates’
Lorraine Nicholson’s first feature as a director draws on her childhood visits to the Playboy Mansion, with Bill Pullman and Jessica Biel also starring.

Lily-Rose Depp was photographed in Los Angeles on October 20 during production of Playmates, offering a first glimpse of the actress on set. The film casts her as Anna, a woman seeking to become a Playboy Playmate.
Lorraine Nicholson wrote the screenplay and is directing the project, her feature directorial debut. Inspired by Nicholson’s childhood visits to the Playboy Mansion, the story centers on 13-year-old Elle, played by Indiana Elle, who sees the mansion as another home.
Anna is among seven women competing for selection as Playmate of the Month. She and Elle develop an unexpected friendship after meeting, with each trying to help the other achieve what she wants most.
Bill Pullman is set to play Hugh Hefner, Playboy’s founder, while Jessica Biel will portray one of his wives. Biel’s character is reportedly not based on any of Hefner’s actual wives. Depp’s casting was announced in September, with Biel joining more recently. No release date has been announced.
