KJ Apa confirms relationship with model Renee Wilkins
The actor discussed their relationship after the pair appeared together at the Newport Beach Film Festival Honors on October 18.
KJ Apa has confirmed he is dating model Renee Wilkins, telling E! News that their relationship is going well. The 29-year-old former Riverdale actor spoke while promoting his new film, Jimmy, at a Texas screening.
Apa described Wilkins as his “bestie” during the interview. Asked by E! News how he knew she was “the one,” he responded, “Why not?”
The pair first appeared together on a red carpet on October 18 at the Newport Beach Film Festival Honors. Apa was recognized there as one of Variety’s 10 Actors to Watch. He later shared a photograph of himself and Wilkins on Instagram.
Wilkins was born in New Zealand and now lives in Los Angeles. Her Instagram account, @ReneeFromTechSupport, has more than 40,000 followers.
