Tegan and Sara have released “I Love Christmas” and “A December To Remember,” with production by An Horse’s Kate Cooper. The two holiday tracks arrive after the duo’s recent single “Our Year,” and each has an accompanying music video.

Tegan said the material originated in writing sessions with Cooper for a project linked to the duo’s 2024 graphic novel Crush. Those songs went unreleased. After completing her latest middle grade book, Merry Christmess, she returned to a couple of them and decided to adapt them for Christmas.

Explaining her enthusiasm for the holiday, Tegan pointed to its traditions, nostalgia and opportunities to make memories with loved ones. She said the tracks were intended for listeners who enjoy Christmas as well as those who do not.

The duo also listed tour dates with Hilary Duff, beginning on 11/05/27 at San Antonio’s Frost Bank Center. The schedule includes two Anaheim shows at Honda Center, on 11/20/27 and 11/21/27.
