Chris Pratt’s ‘Way of the Warrior Kid’ gets trailer ahead of November premiere
The Apple TV film arrives globally on November 25, with Linda Cardellini and Jude Hill also starring.

A trailer is out for Apple TV’s “Way of the Warrior Kid,” starring Chris Pratt alongside Linda Cardellini and Jude Hill. The streaming platform has scheduled the movie’s global premiere for November 25.
Directed by McG, the movie adapts former Navy SEAL Jocko Willink’s 2017 novel “Way of the Warrior Kid: From Wimpy to Warrior the Navy SEAL Way.” Willink also has a role in the film.
Apple’s synopsis centers on Marc, played by Hill, a bullied middle schooler who struggles academically, in P.E. and with making friends. His uncle Jake, played by Pratt, is an injured Navy SEAL recovering over the summer with Marc and his mother Sarah, played by Cardellini. Jake creates “Operation Warrior Kid,” drawing on his SEAL training to help Marc defend himself. Rather than teach fighting, he demonstrates courage while confronting his own demons.
Other Apple TV arrivals in November include the second season of “Stick,” due November 4, and the culinary docuseries “Awkwafina: The Unlikely Cook,” due November 6. November 13 brings the documentary “Being Heumann” and thriller “12 12 12.”
