Bryan Adams has released “Lake Ontario,” a song criticizing Donald Trump’s renaming of the lake that also references the Epstein files. It is the second track directed at Trump on the Canadian singer-songwriter’s forthcoming album, How’s It Goin’.

The Ontario native’s song challenges the replacement of Lake Ontario’s name with “Lake America” through an executive order. Its lyrics invoke the lake’s Indigenous name and history, contrasting them with an order to change what it is called.

The lyrics also portray the renaming as a distraction while the Epstein files were attracting attention. In a statement accompanying the song, Adams said political leaders and regimes were temporary, while the lake would endure. He described the track as intended for listeners on both shores who reject the name change.

Adams previously released “51st State” on Canada Day, opposing Trump’s efforts to annex Canada. Both songs appear on How’s It Goin’, scheduled for release on 11/6 through BAD.
