Netflix has unveiled a trailer for its new Pride & Prejudice series, which stars Emma Corrin as Elizabeth Bennet opposite Jack Lowden’s Mr. Darcy. All six episodes are scheduled to premiere on the streaming service on December 3rd.

The story follows five Bennet sisters whose futures are shaped by romance, family pressures and social expectations after wealthy bachelors move into their neighborhood. Jane is drawn to Mr. Bingley, while Elizabeth’s early conflict with Mr. Darcy gives way to a reassessment of her feelings amid family scandals and unexpected meetings. Netflix describes the series as a faithful adaptation of the novel.

Olivia Colman plays Mrs. Bennet, and Rufus Sewell portrays Mr. Bennet. The cast also features Freya Mavor as Jane, Daryl McCormack as Mr. Bingley and Fiona Shaw as Lady Catherine de Bourg. Hopey Parish and Hollie Avery make their screen debuts playing Mary and Kitty Bennet, respectively.

Dolly Alderton is the series’ writer, with Euros Lyn directing. Corrin also has an executive producer role alongside their starring part.
