UK band Tindersticks have announced Dog Roses, their 15th studio album, for a March 12 release through City Slang. The group has shared “Loving, Leaving” as the record’s lead single.

For the new recordings, the band moved out of its longtime studio and worked in an underground space, according to its announcement. Electric guitarist Dave Okumu, of the Invisible, and saxophonist Julian Siegel joined the group for the album.

Frontman Stuart Staples described the project as an attempt to move beyond the approach of the band’s previous album, Soft Tissue. He said familiar recording methods offered little help as he sought to capture fleeting feelings and impressions rather than his usual sense of time and place.

The eight-song tracklist also includes “Intimacy,” “Wild Sage,” “Slow Love,” “Flying Cars,” “Your Children” and “Tell Me About You.” The title track closes the album.
