Nikki DeLoach and Andrew Walker announce sixth Curious Caterer movie
The next installment of Hallmark Channel’s mystery franchise will air in 2027, following a gap of more than two years.
Nikki DeLoach and Andrew Walker plan to start filming another Curious Caterer movie after disembarking from the 2026 Hallmark Christmas Cruise. The actors announced the project during a behind-the-scenes panel aboard the ship.
Scheduled to air on Hallmark Channel in 2027, the film will be the franchise’s sixth entry. The mystery series has five movies to date, and its last installment was released more than two years ago.
DeLoach attributed the return to fans who had sought another movie through Facebook and Instagram. She said she had also spent about a year urging Hallmark executives Randy Pope and Michelle Vicary to bring the series back.
Walker described repeated requests at conventions and other events for the actors to reunite in the franchise. He said they passed that interest along to network decision-makers, either by recording fans or by reporting the requests directly.
