Fox has scheduled its Baywatch reboot for Wednesday, January 6, 2027, at 9pm ET, the network announced. Each episode will arrive on Hulu the following day. The scheduling announcement follows the debut of the show's trailer.

Stephen Amell stars as Hobie Buchanan, who has become a Baywatch captain like his father, Mitch. The story sees Hobie's life disrupted by Charlie's arrival and ambition to continue the family's legacy.

Cody Madison operates The Shoreline, a bar and grill that serves as a gathering place for the lifeguards. He acts as a friend and mentor while occasionally returning to lifeguard duty.

The cast includes Brooks Nader, Thaddeus LaGrone, Jessica Belkin, Hassie Harrison, Shay Mitchell, Noah Beck and Livvy Dunne, alongside several returning performers from the original series.

Fox ordered 12 episodes in September 2025 for its 2026-2027 broadcast season. An open casting call took place in early 2026, and filming subsequently began in Los Angeles.
