Kim Kardashian said she believes Ryan Murphy chose her fellow All’s Fair actors partly to give her people to learn from and support her performance. She discussed his approach on The View on November 5 while promoting the Hulu show’s second season.

Appearing with Naomi Watts and Niecy Nash-Betts, Kardashian said the ensemble gave her an opportunity to develop her acting while also having others to fall back on if necessary. Sarah Paulson, Glenn Close and Teyana Taylor also appear in the series.

Watts rejected the suggestion that Kardashian had hidden behind her co-stars, praising her progress from the start of filming through the final day of season two. Nash-Betts said Kardashian’s performance had impressed the cast.

Hulu launched the second season on November 4 with three episodes, with further episodes arriving on Wednesdays. Hulu’s synopsis describes changing alliances and friendships under strain at the law firm Grant, Ronson & Greene, where a revelation threatens its survival.
