Kit Connors and Diana Silvers shoot thriller PREPPY in New York
Janicza Bravo is directing the film, which follows the summer of 1986 before Jennifer Levin’s murder in Central Park.

Production on the upcoming thriller PREPPY brought Kit Connors and Diana Silvers to New York’s Upper Manhattan for nighttime filming on October 18. The actors had also filmed scenes at night earlier in the month.
The film will examine the events of summer 1986 before Robert Chambers murdered Jennifer Levin in Central Park. Levin was a recent high school graduate; Chambers, who became known as the Preppy Killer, had previously attended a Manhattan private school.
Janicza Bravo is directing, with David Levine and Rose Lichter-Marck providing the original screenplay. Jason Bateman is one of the project’s producers. The movie’s title is styled with a reversed E.
For the period-set shoot, Connors paired jeans and black loafers with a striped button-down shirt beneath a navy blazer. Silvers’ costume combined a sleeveless cream minidress, pearls and black heels. She also wore a tan shearling-style coat with thick fur trim over her shoulders.
