Miley Cyrus, now performing as Miley, played two Hollywood Bowl concerts featuring new material from Bass Persuades and appearances by collaborators Wayne Coyne and Model/Actriz. The Friday and Sunday shows also included established hits such as “Flowers” and “Wrecking Ball.”

During Sunday's concert, Miley responded to online commentary about her Friday performance. She said performing had become more difficult for her, but rejected suggestions that she was not emotionally invested. She told the audience she had considered not going onstage before the opening song, “Orbit,” but would not leave fans without a show.

Model/Actriz opened both concerts and performed “Different Religion” with Miley for the first time live. She also appeared during the band's opening set on Sunday. Her fiancé, Maxx Morando, joined her during the encores for the first live performance of “Let's Get Married.”

Coyne, the Flaming Lips frontman, appeared with Miley on a smaller stage among the audience. Their songs together included the Lips' “Do You Realize??” and “Karen Don't Be Sad,” a duet from her 2015 album Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz.

The concerts followed a lengthy gap in full-scale touring: Miley's last headlining tour was in 2014, although she headlined festivals in 2021 and 2022 and has made occasional standalone appearances.
