Benito Skinner says Benny and Miles will hook up in Overcompensating season 2
Skinner also said Owen Thiele’s George will have a larger role, while a proposed appearance by two Adults actors did not happen.

Overcompensating creator and star Benito Skinner has revealed that his character, Benny, will hook up with Miles in the Prime Video comedy’s second season. Speaking on Owen Thiele’s podcast In Your Dreams, Skinner also said Thiele’s character, George, would have a bigger part in the upcoming season.
Rish Shah plays Miles, Benny’s crush and fraternity brother. Their potential romance remained unresolved during the first season. Thiele plays George, a gay student Benny meets who works at a campus store.
Skinner also discussed an idea that did not come to fruition: bringing Thiele’s Adults co-stars Amita Rao and Lucy Freyer into a scene set in a gay bar. He said the actors had just completed filming the second season of Adults and he wanted them to have a break. He cited budget constraints as another reason the appearance did not happen.
The comedy draws on Skinner’s own college experiences. A release date for its second season has not been announced.
