‘Heated Rivalry’ reportedly shooting third season, with holiday film planned
Sources told Deadline that the proposed movie would follow Scott Hunter and Kip Grady and is planned for a December 2027 theatrical release.

A third season of Crave’s Heated Rivalry is being filmed in Canada alongside its second season, sources told Deadline. They also said production on a separate holiday movie would start in December. Crave and creator Jacob Tierney have not officially confirmed a third-season renewal.
The movie remains unannounced. Sources described it as a Christmas special or holiday episode, with plans to bring it to theaters in December 2027. Its central characters would be Scott Hunter and Kip Grady, portrayed by Francois Arnaud and Robbie G.K., with other series characters appearing.
The same sources said the film would not feature Ilya Rosanov or Shane Hollander, played by Connor Storrie and Hudson Williams. Game Changers author Rachel Reid has already depicted Scott and Kip’s first Christmas as a couple in her short story Merry Christmas, Scott and Kip!.
Tierney has confirmed a six-episode second season, which is expected to arrive in April 2027. The main adaptation will be The Long Game, while material from Role Model will also be included.
